Organisers of the Walker Town concert must be called out for the 4am fireworks at Kasarani. That was very disturbing and scary for neighbourhoods. Totally insensitive.

@morarakebaso And this is because MPs must eat with Kerra. MPs control road tenders in rural areas. Kerra who are supposed to ensure standard roads have no say at all. We end up with bad roads. Recently someone from the Kenya Roads Board admitted that KERRA has no say mashinani.

@morarakebaso I come from this area. Mgala muue lakini haki yake mpe. Some of these roads have been tarmacked. Kegogi-Nyakoora-Rioma road was tarmacked in August 2023. Rioma-Marani-Mbanda was tarmacked during Uhuru's tenure. Rioma-Kiomooncha-Gesieka was also tarmacked during Uhuru's tenure.

@morarakebaso My biggest concern, however, is the quality of the roads. Kisii is hilly and perennially rainy. We expected that they would construct durable roads, but what they are putting up is easily washed away by the running waters. The Owalo-Rioma-Marani-Mbanda road is already bad.

@morarakebaso However, there are sections of the roads that were abandoned, and others are yet to be upgraded as promised. For instance Nyakoe-Marani-Sombogo-Kegogi has not been tarmacked. But recently bulldozers were excavating the road.
