Good evening everyone. I’m appealing for financial assistance towards my school fees. My final exams begin in 2 days, and payment must be completed before I can sit for them.
My parents who have always handled my fees, are currently facing an unexpected financial crisis, making..
Obidients are a funny bunch.
We were handed the largest political movement of Nigeria's 4th republic, and what's arguably the largest political movement Nigeria has ever seen.
What did we do with it? Have we been able to morph this movement into a properly structured group?
Do we know our membership numbers worldwide? How are the movement's activities funded? Do we pay annual dues?
Because if this movement had been properly structured and funded since 2022, by now, we'd have the leverage to put pressure on political parties. We'd have enough funds to lobby our members into positions and tickets.
We let egos and personal interests come between us and what's supposed to be the most powerful tool of change Nigeria has ever witnessed.
When Peter Obi and Kwankwaso came together, suddenly, the Obidient movement was pushed to the back burner for the OK movement (which is actually supposed to be an alliance, not a movement), while the Kwankwasiyas maintained their autonomy and used their structure to apply pressure where necessary.
Tanko is the movement's director, yet he thinks that his job description is a glorified P.A. for Peter Obi, hopping on flights to tour the world with him while the movement bleeds.
Our head of media directorate resigned over a month ago, yet I doubt there's been a replacement less than a year to a very important presidential election. It's crazy
Now we want to cry cos the NDC made Theo and Brian the party's new media directors? Lmao
This alliance with the Kwankwasiyas should be an opportunity for us to learn how a political movement should be properly structured and run.
Someone shd please tell this Ejike Whatever to shut up. The people of Imo State are still living with the consequences of his corrupt & criminal nonsense.
Actually the problem started when he openly supported a candidate in the elections before the last which had led Nigeria to this menace.
He directly/indirectly supported the Buhari /Osibanjo ticket.
I’m a redeem member too, but that’s the truth.
They started encouraging youth to join politics, get PVC, vote and all that. They even created a political arm for the church. We all could interpret the undertone.
Buhari’s winning was to a good extent dependent of the redeem Pastor as VP. It was a major campaign point to get vote from Christians.
Suddenly now, the church is apolitical.
I understand Baba is older now and he can’t even do all that. And he probably saw the repercussion of supporting the Buhari /Osibanjo ticket; maybe that explains the stepping back.
But gaslighting people like this is how it’s always been is what is not the truth.
Good morning everyone, his killer Kelvin Ezeigbe Oniarah was sentenced in 2013.
President Tinubu granted him clemency last year 2025, and he is set to be released this year.
Thanks for your attention to this matter.
Lol, enough of this Puritan politics, please. There is absolutely no way to get squeaky clean candidates in every single position in the NDC.
Attempting to do that means you risk incurring silly losses because most of them do not even have the mobilisation clout.
If we can get 50% clean hands, that's a very good start! You can not clean up a dirty river in one day. Let's be circumspect, please
The focus should be on getting Peter Obi to win. Nigeria's legislators generally adjust to the body language of the president.

I went to secondary school in Barkin Ladi 20 years ago. This is what SS1 - 3 boys were doing, night shifts in the blistering cold. I did it too. My mates in Oyo were sleeping or studying. I’ve watched this shit deteriorate in real time.
Barkin Ladi now looks nothing like it did when I graduated 14 years ago. I went to the same junction we used to buy stuff during outings last year & I was shaking. They don’t speak the same language. Crisis after crisis. Slowly, the people who used to till those lands are now doing menial jobs in the south. The names of the villages have changed. The senator representing that region was killed few days after I graduated when he attended a mass funeral of people who were massacred by the Fulanis who now occupy their homes. 14 years ago guys.
Trying to raise awareness about this state-backed conquest feels like screaming under water.
Few months ago, my aunt in mangu came to ask for money to trade cause she can’t farm anymore. Their farms were attacked 3 years ago. They wouldn’t dare go back.
For more than 10 years, we’ve had internally displaced persons from Borno living in our house, after my mother took them in. They only go back to their so-called homes for funerals. 3 brilliant kids; Elizabeth, Margaret and Grace (named after my now late mother for her benevolence). The dad does security work, the mom cleans. Who knows what they could’ve made of themselves back home? I do, they’d have been compost for aliens.
It always starts small then it spirals out of control. We’ve seen all kinds of terror. I wish they just came and shot people but that’s not fun enough. Bullets are for runners. They’ll slice pregnant women open to kill their fetuses. They’ll feed women their kid’s fingers. They burn people alive, hack them with machetes. When people try to defend themselves, that’s when soldiers come in. They call it farmer-herder clashes. They say cattle was rustled. Cattle was rustled? That’s why you renamed my village and put 200 people in a mass grave ?
I remember @YarKafanchan saying that she wept after the 2015 elections cause she knew her people would die like flies & then what happened in southern kaduna? When people talk, they say where’s the evidence? But what about the bodies? Dying is a morbid thing to be skilled at but boy, we have experience.
We’ve seen “strategists” platform them and defend all manner of wrongdoing on the alter of political correctness.
Omoh, let me just stop here.
Trending Video: Another Nigerian police threatens to kill anyone who videos him.
“I will kill you. Allah! If you are inside bus, I will kill you and everyone in that bus. Na IGP Disu go bury una and nothing go happen. Try me.!”
He’s reportedly stationed in Awka.
Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement
My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement.
I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down.
To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didn’t deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down.
I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as I’m enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is not only about when the road is sweet and smooth; it is also about owning up when you mess up. I own this fully. I am committed to rebuilding trust through consistent actions, not just words. But I also know trust is not demanded, it is earned back slowly, if at all. Thank you for reading this.
Whether you accept my apology or not, I respect your feelings and your right to hold me accountable. The love I have for a better Nigeria has not changed. You all know me. My respect for the Obidient spirit remains. I am sorry truly.
With humility and hope for forgiveness,
Your brother in this struggle,
Morris Monye.
Oya come let’s hug. 😊
