@AdamMeakins a millionty years ago you posted a video showing the practical application of resistance training in later life (getting something from under the coffee table, carrying shopping bags etc etc). Any chance you have a link to it? I can't find the link I had
It's that time of year when @CORUIreland show that their "solution" for requiring unnecessary data (under GDPR) wasn't set up in the system well. Not offering non binary titles but insisting on requiring registrants use a title ends up looking like this in formal communication
@CORUIreland Today I applied to open a Credit Union a/c & made a hotel reservation both of which gave me the option of Mx as a title (which is still unnecessary info) but @CORUIreland still only offer No_Title for their non Ms/Mr registrants. Do better CORU @gillian51255942@ginnyhanrahan1
@physiotutorium For me it is "what do you want from your stick?" General stabiliser, low key community notification, no WB? Hiking stick
Some WB, more obvious community notification, like to hang it over the arm of the chair? Classic walking stick (which can come in a folding version)
@muinteoirmama @ciaraquill I have had grammar errors like that arrive home in school communications. I have also had English teachers say that they SEEN something
@physiotutorium My context reference was a patient in a NH for social reasons. NH on one level so no need for stairs. H/V to son's house every weekend meant stairs to access the WC & kiss grandchildren goodnight. We practiced stairs.
@physiotutorium It is all about context. I would ask them to think of situations, or contexts, in which doing a specific task would be perceived valuable or rewarding
@physiotutorium You have a choice. You can look for peace or you can fight it. I’ve spent 35 years fighting it. Finding peace is hard. I was marinated in anti fat bias & fat phobia. It’s hard to walk away from what I know.
@physiotutorium Thank you. I’ve been around, just not in this form. Doing a lot of exploration of finding peace in the body you’re in, not the one society says you should be in.
Delighted to speak with @IrishTimes about urgent need to reform legislation and allow physios refer for xrays. This is common practice internationally. It will improve access for patients and reduce costs. @gemda@_ISCP_@WeHSCPs @DonnellyStephen
In Ireland, physiotherapists are not legally permitted to refer patients for X-rays, as they are not one of the health professionals included in the legislation governing referrals for these investigations

@DecathlonIE As you can see from the screen grab below, the Gender field (which is not actually a gender question but that is a topic for another day) is required. This is the error message when the save button is clicked. This is a GDPR breech as it is unnecessary information
