Loreland

The Kingdom of Loreland – a micronation dedicated to conservation and creation of culture. 🏰👑

[Loreland @loreland]

#Micronations News:

By proclamation of the Estates of the Realm, effective from midnight on 22 September 2022, the Kingdom of Loreland shall be an independent state under the reign of His Majesty King Charles.

[Loreland @loreland]

A great #environment initiative and one for other #micronations to follow!

We will watch this closely and consider following in Dunland’s #wildlife footsteps!

[𝐃𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 @DunlandGov]

#DidYouKnow you can help wildlife in Dunland by using the #Tips button in our bio (next to the follow button)!

Every year we add bird boxes, wildflower seed, and do clean ups of the area’s hedgerows, forests and waterways – and that’s where all tips go!

@SkySanchez15 You have tagged the wrong account. ☺️

🗣️ Announcement ☝️

If you’re a sexually explicit or sexually themed ‘micronation’, then we respectfully ask you don’t follow or interact with Dunland.

To each their own and all that but we will not be engaging with you on that level.

Our thoughts are with the victims and their families of the #StHelier #JerseyCI explosion. This was a profound tragedy for the entirety of our island community.

[Loreland @loreland]

@BBCWorld It might be hung but the parties and alliances of the right will have numbers to make a majority or confidence and supply arrangement.

[Loreland @loreland]

@Geo_graphic7 @BBCWorld Regardless of its being majority or hung, it’s still an elected parliament.

[Loreland @loreland]

@Dankfx @PopRelics @AP I think it is insofar as China is explicitly seeking a zero covid policy and has been even more draconian in its pursuit thereof. If it’s expending vast resources on a policy that is seen to be failing, when it is the only country pursuing that policy, then it’s newsworthy.

[Loreland @loreland]

@PhilipRadbourne @AP “Democratically” elected? Yes.

Freely and fairly elected? No.

[Loreland @loreland]

@timmythehill @Reuters @mrjamesob You don’t agree with Boris Johnson that China is autocratic?

[Loreland @loreland]

@Reuters Never thought I’d say it but Boris Johnson was right. Bloomberg is just another western CCP apologist.

[Loreland @loreland]

@PopRelics @AP The US isn’t pursuing a ‘zero covid’ strategy and maintaining strict lockdowns where people can’t even leave their house for groceries and if they have covid they have to report to detention centres. So there’s that difference.

[Loreland @loreland]

@ClareLithua If it works, it works!

We’ve opted for a mix of appointed and elected legislature. We probably won’t always have the citizen numbers to justify elections and such, and it’s always wise to be able to appoint those in the know the right roles.

You didn’t need to know but still 😅

[Loreland @loreland]

#Micronations Question

Does your micronation have a legislature? If so, how active is it? How many members? And how is it elected/appointed?

We’re sourcing ideas for our Estates of the Realm 🏛️

[Loreland @loreland]

@KingdomLibertas @AllMicronations @Kabukostan @slowjamastan @aleutiagovt @GovConfederate @EspoonaGov @RepublicBaliga @tiberiagob This type of flag, and the “stripes” as you call them, is a “saltire”.

[Loreland @loreland]

@Flandrensis_Gov @Queen_Ladonia Hair today, gone tomorrow!

(I just thought it was shaved! But you still look incredibly regal!)

[Loreland @loreland]

@KarniaRuthenia @uzupis We’ve reported that account before. It spams every nearly every single micronation with nonsense replies, which is against the Twitter rules. It also DMs with links to suspicious websites.

[Loreland @loreland]

@Reuters If we move to digital currency, how you spend and what you buy can be dictated and decided for you.

[Loreland @loreland]

@AP_Sports @AP @gdunbarap This will achieve nothing. If you’re not boycotting this World Cup, you’re not protesting.

[Loreland @loreland]

@AP If Pakistan can afford to maintain 165 nuclear warheads and $700 million for new jet fighters, then Pakistan can afford its own climate relief.
