Awesome training session with Cerys from @ClassVR some impressive updates. The AI stuff is especially cool and definitely worth the subscription upgrade. Looking forward to using them as part of our curriculum again after a much needed upgrade from our seven year old headsets!
@Mroberts90Matt I opened a school and did longer days Mon-Thurs for an early finish Fri and a 2 week Oct half term. Staff can pick their kids up from school at least once a week/go away for the weekend etc. kids get the same teaching hours over the year and staff are happier
Six years of studying whilst working full time (and a recent new addition to the family) and I have achieved my Degree in Education, with First Class Honours!!!
I cannot wait to see what the future holds ๐๐ซถ๐ป๐ฉโ๐
And thatโs a wrap!
Six years of study whilst working full time, with a chunk of mat leave at the end.
Two beautiful boys, a career change, married the love of my life, moved house, all whilst studying with @OpenUniversity
I am excited to see what 2025 brings ๐ฉโ๐
Trying to find PGCE/QTS options for September and I am disappointed to find out even the part time options require study and lectures during the day Monday to Friday. Does anybody know of any evening part time courses? @getintoteaching#TraintoTeach#Education
@MrMcofficial86 I did extremely well in my SATS. Some of the best scores the school had seen. I was then placed in โset 3โ in secondary school. I was moved to the โexpress setsโ within weeks of starting. My SATS had no bearing on where I was placed.
Very fitting for an education setting like mine. I am very lucky to have supportive and caring colleagues, who are willing to offer professional expertise during my studies.
First part of TMA04 completed! A colleague has kindly agreed to complete a questionnaire I have written for my final exam. The subject is โInclusive learning and differentiated learning in the classroom environmentโ and focuses specifically on young people with Autism.
I canโt believe Iโm on my final tutor marked assignment for this academic year. I have quite a big examiner marked assignment to do next month and then Iโll be enrolling onto my final year. Five years (nearly) down and one to go! #OpenUniversity#PartTimeStudy#Teacher
@missS_E_A I like to think of it in a way that circumstances are different. Some parents canโt do lavish Christmas and Bdays but may be able to spread out the cost better by getting little toys at Easter. I get my son a Lego set for Easter as he is a December baby and misses out all year.
