Instead of having workers watching and creating "damaged" cloth, the Toyoda Model G added a _warp-break auto-stop_ feature. This 30-second clip shows how warp and weft are woven together, and when a warp breaks it produces "damaged" cloth.

I've always wondered how a loom inspired "build quality in" and "reduce waste" in lean software development.

One major problem with looms is breakage of yarn. The two types of yarn are called warp and weft. Both of them can break, creating a "damaged" cloth. Previously, workers were kept busy merely looking out for broken warps and subsequently stopping the machine.

I just heard "WAgile" used this morning. "WAgile" may be a hybrid process that blends waterfall and Agile.

Here in the Philippines 🇵🇭, it is pronounced as "wă-gile" and could mean "walang" (no) agile, or "kawawang" (poor) agile🤣

They advised WHO that it should be designated a Variant of Concern.
