Second day in Rome. Can’t believe I leave tomorrow! I’m ready though. I miss the dogs and my grandson. Getting to see the Colosseum yesterday was awesome. Here are some pictures. #pcm485
Said goodbye to this beauty yesterday. And though it wasn’t as hard to say goodbye as the time I left her in Florence for her studies, it was still hard. I leave my heart with her, and wish her well as she finishes her year of study in Florence. #pcm485
The Uffizi Gallery. One of the most important in the world. Here we have a Botticelli, Michelangelo, and da Vinci. It’s simply amazing to see these works of art in person. #pcm485
The view of Florence from above my daughter’s apartment. This is Piazza Michelangelo, and the church is above the piazza Basilica di San Miniato al Monte. #pcm485
My daughter has made my memories that much sweeter in Florence. She has planned each day with museums, and trips to palaces. She’s the tour guide and she’s doing an amazing job allowing me to see her education through her eyes. #pcm485
