14.3 Q:2 #GNED1411 the 3 most useful things I learned in this course definitely were, 1. learning about Social Media tools & how to use them, 2. Facebook & Privacy, learning about how to properly set privacy settings, 3. Using social media for business & networking.

14.3 Q:1 #GNED1411 In this course, learning about Online Identities & how information is withheld by corporate databases of platforms in most cases without the user knowing is something that surprised me; knowing that privacy settings just sometimes aren't enough.

14.2 #GNED1411 The social media technology that I feel will gain popularity majorly is Youtube. From the growing amount of Vloggers and creators, and vice versa for the fans who watch them; Youtube has already evolved majorly so I feel that it will only grow further from here.

13.3 #GNED1411 Social media can be a great tool in the classroom. This course has proven that to me for sure. I feel that if it is used for the right reasons & for actual conversation about topics being discussed or real life news/issues, I don't see the harm in using them 1/2

12.3 #GNED1411 I think digital activism/advocacy and its support of the use of social media can definitely make a real difference in society, as it already has today. Social media enabling the expression of opinions, and conversation's, makes SM strongly powerful to activisms.

12.2 #GNED1411 The SickKids Foundation. It has become my new favorite activist. They utilize their social media through sharing posts of patients journeys, sharing links you can go to donate/spread awareness & so much more. followed by the hashtag #ThisIsWhyWeFight #SickKidsVS 💙
