Happy 250th Independence Day to the USA, the greatest country on Earth!🇺🇸

To honor the heritage and patriotism of our great country as Sheriff of Maricopa County, AZ, not only did I place USA flags in all the jail cells and affix USA flags to thousands of inmates’ striped prison jumpsuits, I also introduced the national anthem and God Bless America to be played every day and night including at Tent City jail, where I held ceremonies with the veteran inmates. Inmates who desecrated the US flag were subsequently placed on bread-and-water-only diets!

Recently, I held a party for 300 of my friends and supporters in honor of my 94th birthday (the same day as my only hero in my lifetime, President Trump), and I discovered that I am 37.6% of the age of the USA.

Speaking of President Trump, I was the first public official to endorse him for office when I introduced him on stage at his first ever rally for president, which was in Phoenix, Arizona on July 11, 2015. I looked him in the eyes, said we both share the same birthday, and that he would be our next president!

My endorsement of President Trump will always be my favorite and best endorsement because he is a proven fighter and winner for the great people of the USA. We should all support President Trump since he is courageously fighting battles for us and against our foes, both foreign and domestic.

Everyone, please be safe this Fourth of July weekend! I pray that the USA and its people overcome all hardships and live long and prosperous lives! The United States of America will always fight on and never surrender! Happy 4th of July, everyone!

Big win for separation of powers principles today. By a vote of 6-3, the Supreme Court overruled the New Deal-era case, Humprey's Executor, which was the cornerstone of the administrative state. It allowed Congress to restrict the President's ability to remove independent agency heads. That case has now been "slaughtered" by Trump v. Slaughter, upholding the President's ability to fire an FTC Commissioner. Opinion by Chief Justice Roberts. Relatedly, and as predicted, the Chief did not apply that same reasoning to the Trump v. Cook case, which involved the firing of a federal reserve board member. Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Barrett all dissented from that one. The Fed is different, I guess.
