Marriage with the love of your life, your soulmate, the man or women that God chooses for you, will be the most ecstatic, fun, and healing experience of your life.
Sleepovers with your favorite person every night. A lot of the most passionate & delicious intimacy (your bodies will fit together perfectly). You’ll be their #1 cheerleader & will be able to see them achieve many of their goals which will increase your own happiness. You’ll help each other. You’ll create so many beautiful memories together. I could keep going.
It’s better to wait for this, than to settle.
@MrsCMFrancis If it’s the store though, they don’t tend to up-charge & the shoppers/drivers are paid for the job (tips are not everything). But the apps DD, Uber Eats or instacart(not as bad) gouge freaking everyone & pay peanuts, require wear and tear and such on your car. Exploitative Crap.
@MrsCMFrancis Amazon, ups & fedex drivers are paid extremely well $24-$56/hr. Especially ups drivers. While, depending on the service you use for food/grocery delivery, those people may be paid far less than minimum wage “per order” & use their own vehicle +shopping , so that’s typically why.
Resist the cultural tendency to rush through the seasons. Allow yourself to sync with the land and the natural cycle of the wheel of the year, not the artificial cycle of algorithm and retail seasons. Revel in the present moment, don’t just live for the next one.
@Elliesmommyy23@MommyShark42 One of my favorites was a lady in another state getting groceries delivered to a sick friend. And another was a sweet elderly lady and I loved delivering to her and checking she was okay.
@Elliesmommyy23@MommyShark42 One of my favorite orders to get were for people who couldn’t do it for themselves. Whether they are sick, disabled, elderly, a new mom, single parents, whatever. It was just nice to help, some of the best tippers too. But a regular tip is just fine, nothing extravagant.
@givemeaperccc so I guess take it out on the people the company is actually exploiting… I can’t believe the hatred people have for people trying to make a living.
@givemeaperccc I’ve read people calling these workers rats, slaves, broke bitches, fat, worthless, just deliver the food & don’t let me see you… you want their service but barely think they’re human because you’re paying too much to the company for groceries…
@Elliesmommyy23@MommyShark42 So 40 to 60 items, for just that order plus if you don’t leave a tip, they’re likely bundling your order with someone else who did tip. And you’re also doing their order. Then you have to check out put everything in and drive to both spots. It definitely takes a couple hours.
@Elliesmommyy23@MommyShark42 They’re not grabbing bags w/Instacart, DD, Uber Eats, they’re shopping for you, checking out & bringing it to your door… the whole order. So if it’s $152 it’s likely a big order & it took a couple hours. If the service isn’t worth it, skip it, the inflated prices really do suck.
@Nyct0phil3_x Two men that are so self-important, they can’t engage a child in such a prohibitively important endeavor. Teaching them politeness, conversational skills, complex topics & expanding their vocabulary at a higher level than they would otherwise. Why would a father want to do that…
@Corbienest I found the reply 🤬ew, also actually don’t talk to anyone like that unsolicited, but now he’s got into another account and pretending you were in on it. His old account is supposedly locked or something.
@just_mindy It’s odd to me because it’s almost strictly a modern American parenting neuroses. Like a relatively common phenomenon in places like Japan is some teens live alone to close to their school. In their own apartments or boarding situations, unable to live w/their parents for reasons
@KayLynGians@just_mindy I’m glad we agree here because regardless of what another parent would do with their kids, using the law or other organizations to police things you don’t like or that make you uncomfortable is really wrong. Especially in the age of hyper neurotic parenting.
