BREAKING: LOW IQ! Trump publicly embarrasses himself by bragging that he convinced Xi Jinping to start calling artificial intelligence “super intelligence” instead — even though the Chinese speak Chinese.

Just when you thought that he couldn’t get any stupider…

“Very productive meeting with President Xi for both the U.S.A. and China,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Tremendous things will be happening. Like almost everyone else, he seemed to like calling the poorly and inaccurately named Artificial Intelligence to a far more accurate and important name, SUPER INTELLIGENCE. That would be ‘SUPER!’ Everyone last night agreed, also. President DJT”

The obvious problem with this supposedly massive win is that the Chinese don’t call AI “artificial intelligence” because “artificial” and “intelligence” are English words and they speak Mandarin in Beijing.

The phrase that the Chinese use for AI, in its romanized form, is “ren gong zhi neng.” And while that roughly translates to “artificial intelligence,” the language barrier matters. What will almost certainly happen here is that China will simply continue using its current phrasing.

Trump’s fixation on renaming AI isn’t difficult to untangle. He knows that AI data centers have become electorally radioactive with voters, but he also knows that the AI bubble is the only thing propping up the stock market. In his confused, deteriorating mind, he seems to have decided that Americans simply dislike the branding because “artificial” has a negative connotation. In reality, people hate data centers because they’re noisy, consume massive amounts of electricity and water, and provide very few local jobs while funneling more and more profits to the neo-fascist tech lords in Silicon Valley.

This is so quintessentially Trump: ignore the root causes of an issue and paper over people’s material concerns with cheap, superficial tweaks.

Ultimately, this Truth Social post serves to underline the monumental failures of the Trump presidency vis-à-vis China. Rather than hammering out some kind of deal on trade, Taiwan, nuclear weapons, or AI regulation, Trump wastes Xi’s visit rambling about “super intelligence,” which is ironically the term that best describes the Chinese President when he’s standing in comparison to our demented leader.

BREAKING: SERIOUSLY!? Natalie Harp was the one responsible for Trump's disastrous decision to ban CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from the White House — and the details are jaw-dropping.

This scandal just gets weirder and weirder...

According to "people familiar with the matter" who spoke to CNN, Harp precipitated the ban by showing Trump a slew of negative media coverage of him from the now-proscribed outlets. A graphic from Politico reportedly "infuriated" him and television footage of anchors tearing into the administration's failures sent him over the edge.

Harp, who serves as Trump's "special assistant and executive assistant" is one of the most bizarre fixtures of the current administration. It's unclear if her extreme proximity to the President is simply a result of her slavish loyalty or if there's something more at play. In any case, she is wholly unqualified to be exerting this level of influence on the President of the United States.

Of course, even if Harp was responsible for tilting Trump into this unprecedented attack on the First Amendment, the buck ultimately stops with him. This is a man who only believes in free speech when that speech is lavishing him with praise. He's a textbook authoritarian whose desire to become a full-blown dictator has been stymied only by the Constitution and his own incompetence. It now appears that Harp is encouraging those dystopian fantasies. She must be held accountable.

BREAKING: BURN IT DOWN! Republican Rep. Thomas Massie torches Speaker Johnson after he cowardly sent Congress home early to avoid votes on impeaching Hegseth and exposing Epstein files.

Massie is done playing nice with these monsters...

"Roughly three weeks ago, the Speaker of the House said, 'let me tell you how stupid Thomas Massie's comment is,'" he said. "An article said that, Johnson says, 'Republicans are here to work and will remain in Washington throughout September, according to the House calendar.' He goes on to say, 'that is a nonsensical statement by someone who is not participating as a full member of the Congress. And it's really sad that he doesn't.' Unquote."

"Well, I'm here today to let you know that I'm a full participating member of the House of Representatives," he continued. "In fact, when other people want to go home, I'm here to work! I'm here to get justice for the Epstein victims, the survivors. I am here to get the price of food and fuel down for our constituents. We've got solutions, we just refuse to pass them."

On September 1st, Massie announced that he and several other members of Congress had filed a discharge petition to force a vote on an updated second bill to release the full Epstein files. At the time, he said that there were "rumors" that Johnson would "soon recess the House until after the midterm elections… to avoid the vote?!"

He has now been fully vindicated.

In his fiery House speech, Massie slammed Johnson and his cronies specifically for trying to avoid having to provide "transparency and justice" to Epstein's victims.

"I'm the one who most wants to be here those two weeks and they got canceled and I said they would probably cancel them," he continued. "And we were told oh, no, that's a ludicrous idea. Let me tell you how stupid Thomas Massie's comment is. Those were the words of the Speaker. 48 hours later, what did he do? Exactly what I predicted. He cut two weeks off of this calendar!"

He then turned his ire on Trump's disgraced Secretary of Defense and his disastrous, failed war with Iran.

"On Tuesday, as a fully participating member of Congress, I introduced eight articles of impeachment against Peter Brian Hegseth," Massie said. "Over there, they're leading a little fantasy, they call it the Department of War. You know, you can't rename things without Congress. Hell, you can't even rename a post office without us! You think you can rename the Department of Defense, the Department of War? Give me a break. But enjoy your little fantasy. It's the Department of Defense."

Massie stated that Hegseth is the administration official who has "racked up the most illegal and unconstitutional acts." On that point, it's hard to disagree. In addition to the Iran War, Hegseth has overseen the extrajudicial murders of innocent fishermen in the Caribbean and Pacific, smearing them as drug traffickers. He is an unrepentant war criminal.

As for Johnson's decision to end the Congressional session early, it's in perfect keeping with his pathological spinelessness. He's a man who insists over and over again that he's not going to do something right up until the moment he does it. Rather than let Congress debate the merits of impeaching Hegseth or releasing the Epstein files, he has decided to run cover for his toxic, pedophile-protecting party.

While we would never vote for a Republican in any circumstance, we must commend Massie and admit that we have developed real respect for his audaciousness.

BREAKING: HOLY SH*T! The European Union formally opens the door for Canada to join them as an "associate member," delivering a world historic rebuke to Donald Trump.

This was absolutely unthinkable just a few short months ago...

“We must urgently reimagine our partnerships. I would like to work with you on opening the door for Canada to be the first associate member of the European Union," Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, said to Carney during a dramatic speech in Strasbourg, France.

Carney was seated to von der Leyen's left as she delivered the remarks, which have sent shockwaves around the world. The response in the room was immediate and overwhelming as lawmakers surged to their feet to applaud.

Von der Leyen described the new relationship as “not a partnership against anyone else, but for our common strength.” The announcement comes in the wake of Trump's decision to shred America's alliance with Canada by imposing a pointless, self-sabotaging trade war on our northern neighbor in a desperate effort to project strength to his MAGA base. We are seeing the consequences of his disastrous leadership unfold at breakneck pace.

The rationale for both sides is self-evident. On one side they have an ascendent, authoritarian China and on the other hand they have a United States that has become totally unstable, unreliable, and unpredictable. Rather than leave themselves at the whims of these two different but equally dangerous juggernauts, they're banding together.

While the full details of this unprecedented restructuring of the world order have not yet been revealed in full, Canada and the EU are exploring closer cooperation on tech and the new arrangement would almost certainly allow Canadian goods, services, and workers in energy, AI, and defense to move freely in and out of the EU. Currently, between 68% to 75% of Canada's goods exports flow into the United States. Under this new EU agreement, that number would likely dramatically decrease.

They're also exploring the possibility of a closer defense alliance amongst EU nations which Von der Leyen suggested could be akin to creating “Europe’s own Article 4" which when “triggered by one member state, all member states would convene.”

If successful, as it seems likely to be, this EU associate membership would cement Carney as one of Canada's greatest historic leaders. His country would gain greater trade links to a $21 trillion single market, while simultaneously decoupling them from an abusive, increasingly fascist United States.
