This is what it’s all about. Parents, returning ex pupils from secondary, current pupils and toddlers all taking part in our annual family rounders and BBQ evening. This has always been my favourite event of the school year.
I wasn’t short of volunteers when I asked who would like go to Mayo Kindergarten to share a story with the children there. These three Year 4 children were amazing! They had props to go along with their story and also finished off with a song. They were just brilliant!
The children all said it was an experience they'll remember for the rest of their lives! Well done, we're all incredibly proud of you. What a way to end the school year!
After months of hard work, Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 finally put on an incredibly extravagant performance of Aladdin at the Kirkgate Theatre. The children all performed and sang beautifully and at the end, the audience were literally dancing in the aisles!
Good luck to Samson Scales (Year 8) who is heading to London for the final of the Monologue Slam Competition on Monday. He has done brilliantly to reach the final five in his age group and we wish him well on the West End stage.
