In 2022, Metro Council passed our ordinance to fund a park at 13th and Muhammad Ali Blvd. Today we broke ground on Walnut Street Park, which will feature a splash pad, playground, and a multi-sport turf field. The field will be home to the National Champion 10th Street Cardinals.

A kNOw Waste Ambassador is a Louisville resident who is passionate about reducing waste, recycling, and composting. Ambassadors will receive comprehensive training in solid waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting and serve as waste experts in their communities.

This week the Metro Council Budget Committee approved spending for our budget surplus. Some highlights include:

🏗️ $60,000 for 28th and Broadway Streetscape Improvement
