In 2022, Metro Council passed our ordinance to fund a park at 13th and Muhammad Ali Blvd. Today we broke ground on Walnut Street Park, which will feature a splash pad, playground, and a multi-sport turf field. The field will be home to the National Champion 10th Street Cardinals.
A kNOw Waste Ambassador is a Louisville resident who is passionate about reducing waste, recycling, and composting. Ambassadors will receive comprehensive training in solid waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and composting and serve as waste experts in their communities.
