" Economic warfare on Canada is not very smart"
-Scott Galloway, Professor , New York University Stern School of Business
"Canada has based a big portion of their economy on good relationships with the USA. It's the largest undefended border in the world. And yet we (the USA) have decided to declare economic warfare on them. They ( Canada) have been amazing Allies for the USA. To think that we are messing with them this much is not very smart.
" These (US) tariffs were supposed to inspire a flurry of deal-making... and they are...but the deal-making is outside of the US...People are reconfiguring their supply chain to avoid the US who they feel they can't count on".
"Other countries don't understand the tariff policy which seems based on the blood sugar level of a president and his chief economist ( Peter Navarro, who said Canadian officials are dishonest! ) who is citing people who don't exist in economic papers. We have seen throughout history that tariffs are an elegant way to reduce prosperity" . Extracts from Piers Morgan Uncensored

Respect for Mary Simon in a world that still does not respect Indigenous peoples human rights, where Indigenous languages are threatened by laws of Canada/Qc
Shameful people could not respect Ms Simon for her knowledge & compassion rather than making it a political/colonial issue
@sarobertsonca @Tintie4 Love Emilie. She always has a different perspective. She’s an important voice. Carney needs voices like her. Can’t all be white men from the same generation who are advisers.
@sarobertsonca @gill_godwin Thank goodness for Emilie, so adeptly taking apart Poilievre’s ridiculous populist complaints. And great for Gary explaining how negatively removing the tax would hurt provincial and municipal coffers.
