If you're feeling sad, go to the gym.
If you're feeling angry, go to the gym.
If you're feeling happy, go to the gym.
Lifting weights is one of the best medicines for your brain and body. Go to the gym.
Nobody tells you this: You can wake up and decide that's enough. Enough of the low standards. Enough of the bad habit. Enough of the outdated identity. Enough of whatever. You don't need some dramatic reason, either. It's perfectly reasonable to wake up one day, say "this no longer works for me," and make a change. You can reinvent yourself. Today, tomorrow, and as many times as you need to create the life you want.
We should honour our police forces rather than demonizing them, as one of two US political parties decided to do for years. Whichever party came up with the #DefundThePolice hashtag, vote for the other party.
This is incredible footage.
A police officer arrives at a burning house, kicks open the door, and rescues a mother and her children.
You can see the moment he mentally decides to risk his life right before he runs into the fire.
Heroes walk among us.
Yet again, Tina Kotek’s administration is considering dozens of new taxes and tax increases. This is the fundamental difference between us: I will never make Oregon taxpayers pick up the tab for failed leadership.
You deserve so much better than this.

🇳🇵 In Nepal, a mother thought both of her children had died at school because the flood took the building.
Zoyal Ghale, 8, ran into the trees and held on. Rescuers found him later with a broken leg and a cut-up face.
His mother, Matti Maya Tamang, walked from one list of names to the next until she stopped believing she would see them again: “I had already given up.”
Today she reached his bed in Kathmandu... She said finding him gave her life back.

There is no higher priority for us than the safety of American citizens. Our embassies in Nepal and China are working closely to assist Americans and support disaster relief efforts. The United States is standing with the people of Nepal by providing more than $3.6 million worth of life-saving humanitarian assistance, including up to three months of emergency food assistance to up to 10,000 flood-affected households.
KAROLINE LEAVITT: We've offered our help and our assistance, but of course the first priority for this president and Secretary Rubio will always be Americans. So, we're focusing on rescuing every American that we possibly can and that effort will continue.
In Oregon 1/3 of adults are on Medicaid and nearly 1/2 of Oregon’s children.
Unemployment is 2nd highest in the nation.
These are signs of a failed state, not a prosperous one.

🚨 JUST NOW: HHS Sec. Bobby Kennedy drops this line on American kids SWIMMING in a pool of TOXINS
"When I was a kid, juvenile diabetes, or type 2 diabetes, was pretty much unknown in children!"
"38% of our teens are diabetic or pre-diabetic. Autism rate went from in 1970, it was 0.8 per 10,000 population, so less than one in 10,000."
"Today it's one in every 31 children."
"Why do five of my seven kids have food allergies? And it's because of our diet. Almost all of these are food-induced. There's other reasons as well as multifactorial."
"Our metabolic system is under attack, and our kids today are swimming in a soup of toxics, and pharmaceutical products to food, the air, the water. But the most important thing we can do is to change the way that we eat, and that's what we're doing at HHS right now."
Write up all the positive things in your life that you tend to take for granted: the people who have been kind and helpful to you, the health that you presently enjoy.
Gratitude is a muscle that requires exercise or it will atrophy.
If you LOVE Oregon and want to see it thrive vote for Christine Drazan. She has a plan to fix what Kotek has broken. Oregon has gotten measurably worse under @TinaKotek. We can't afford 4 more years of her unaccountable leadership.
Humans used to walk 16-17,000 steps a day.
Today, the average American walks 4000 steps a day.
The easiest way to improve your health is to take a walk outside in nature.
I love spending time around people who show real enthusiasm. It doesn't even matter what they show it for. Just genuine excitement. For people, ideas, and moments. For life. I think it's because I realize it takes courage to care so openly. Enthusiasm is contagious.
