This mornings shout out to all our AHP colleagues @bsmhft who are doing some fabulous work in these unprecedented times. They are always so proactive and professional thinking about service users and their colleagues. Proud to be your Executive. @janeclark65@SuzanneRastrick#nhs
Hello #OccupationalTherapist - is there any work going on regarding allowing OTs to become prescribers? Googled a few things but we're more consultations and a blog post from @RCOT__Karin from a few years ago. Any updates? @maddi_ot @SetG75 @theRCOT
Calling upon the creativity of the OT twitter community! I have been asked to do some teaching on the principles of MOHO! Any ideas on how I might make the session really engaging and memorable... all ideas welcome... if your not sure plz retweet 💚 @theRCOT@RCOT_MH @MOHOspark
Woke up this morning to excellent news that the £5000 bursary has been extended to range of other healthcare courses Inc paramedicine, ODP, Physio, OT, SLT and Dietetics 👏👏
@lara_slater@theRCOT@RCOT_MH @MOHOspark Ooo I really like this idea! I think it’s always difficult trying to complete something from a paper case study because of context etc... watching someone doing then applying the Moho might be easier. Thank you ☺️
@LaurenSimpsonOT@theRCOT@RCOT_MH @MOHOspark Really good idea! I’m think I could get them working in groups a completing a section each then bring it together as a group, this should save some time allowing for practical stuff. Thank you ☺️
@RevolutionHand@theRCOT@RCOT_MH @MOHOspark Yeah I found as a student myself it was always nice to know a little about the person background. Thank you ☺️
@LianneMcInally1 @colourful_ot @theRCOT@RCOT_MH @MOHOspark This is a good point, I’m sure there is a self assessment tool with the Moho isn’t there. I don’t tend to use it myself in practice but might be something worth exploring. The students could self assess based on their own meaningful occupations. I will look into this. Thank you
