Week 12 of semester one and that's a wrap!! I can't believe that in one more semester, I'll be graduating with a Bachelor of Primary Education!!
What an absolute dream come true๐ฅณ๐
My students loved learning about how we can all be sun safe. Great way to wrap up their learning through creating posters promoting the 5 sun smart rules. Fabulous effort 2R!!!

Learning about place value with year 6 today! The students used playing cards and practiced modelling this in their books supported with mathematical reasoning, ie: โ75 is 100 times smaller than 7500โ. #acuedu_p
The 'Emotions Wheel', allowing all the students to express how they are feeling each day. Great way to make sure your always checking in with your students!

Just purchased the โTeacher for a Dayโ book! I feel at ease going into a casual day with a book full of lessons, activities and tips ๐คฉ #acuedu_p
Due to NAPLAN we were out of our usual classroom and the students could work outside in the sun! โ๏ธThe kids loved the change of learning environment and worked so well! #acuedu_p
My year 3's loved exploring 3D shapes and relating it to different objects we see each day. After the use of concrete materials and whole class discussions, all the students engaged in a sort and match activity in their workbooks. #exploring3Dshapes#acuedu_p
As we progress through the EDFD452 unit, I would like to extend my understanding and knowledge further around rubrics and the purposeful construction of a 'good rubric'.
Since beginning the EDFD452 transition to the profession, the most significant aspect I have discovered is the importance for professional development. I never really knew the value it holds for teachers, especially beginning teachers just like us!

We finally received our first letters from our pen pals! Ss faces lit up as they read their mail and found out what they had in common with their new friends ๐คโ๏ธ COโก๏ธPA @OakPark_NPSD@WeAreTeachers@USPS#penpalproject
