Spoke to someone today… apparently they aren’t seen in date order and it takes up to 10 weeks and nothing can be done… im pleased some people are getting them quick but it really isn’t a fair system

@amiilouisexx @HM_Passport When did you apply and to which office? I applied on 8th July for a children’s renewal and seen a fair few people that have received their passports before me 😢 the lady on the phone openly admitted they are dealt with at random today… I’m so cross

@HM_Passport I’ve just been told by one of your call handlers that the passports are processed at random so not in date received order?! Please tell me this isn’t true! Very frustrating seeing people who applied after me getting passports much quicker

@HM_Passport I’ve sent a direct message and have left my number for a call back the day before yesterday.y application has been saying processing since 30th July, I’m seeing people that submitted applications after mine have there passport issued?
