@UnofficialOA It also depends on the school you work at and how supportive they are. My previous head couldn’t care less about staff being parents and there was no flexibility. My new head is the opposite and I’ve negotiated 3 mornings where I miss registration to get my kids to school!

@ICT_MrP I’ve taught both!!! They are both so, so different! Primary is full-on and doesn’t stop, secondary can be some tough kids but you get to pause and catch your breath too!!

@HMRCcustomers I’ve filed 2023/24 self assessment and received an automatic refund. But this refund is now showing up on my account as overdue? Why is this?

@HMRCcustomers Yes it was via self-assessment. It shows up like this as my balance. And the overdue amount is the exact amount that was refunded a month ago.

@WhistleblowingT You could do supply and get paid more and there are loads of jobs out there. HLTA pay is really low and you would be better off as a part-time teacher!

@WhistleblowingT I relinquished my TLR as HOY after going down to 4 days and wanting to focus on being the best Mum I could be. Felt way better after and my school were supportive.
