That was such an unsatisfying race to watch. None of the podium drivers earned their position on track. They were gifted tires under the red flag, so none of them had to do a pit stop. It's just such an uncompetitive rule that hands an unearned advantage to a handful of drivers.
Thereโs absolutely no excuse for this. Much of the media, particularly. the @washingtonpost, is failing us at a time in our nationโs history when we need them the most. Democracy dies in broad daylight when a free press exercises cowardice and capitulation.

@vindesigns2013 I donโt understand many of the decisions made by Mark Miles/Penske Ent. It often seems like they are trying to keep the series and its drivers a secret. The way they treat Pato is a prime example. Rather than promote him, they hide him (and occasionally insult him).
Woke up as a three time @IndyCar Champion today. ๐ฅน
I have no words to describe the feeling I have, Iโve never thought I would be in the position to win championships that I have today.
Thank you to my amazing team @CGRTeams for making me look so good on track every single race weekend and all our partners for supporting us @DHLUS ๐
Thank you to every single person that has helped in my career to get where I am and the amazing fans I have.
We are just getting started. LETโS GO! ๐
Race officiating like last night at Gateway only fuels the perception that @Team_Penske is given favorable treatment. Are they given favorable treatment? I don't know. Does it look like they are? Yes it does. @IndyCar
"[Bryan] Herta confirmed that there remains a contingent of the IndyCar paddock that believe there are inequities in how the races are officiated. ... 'Itโs a growing feeling in the paddock. Maybe Iโm the first one to say that, but itโs what people feel.'" https://t.co/f2JpFkkHWr
@DLand91 That was a really unsatisfying race finish. JNew got away with one there. He was below pace car speed to begin with, then drug his brakes to bunch up the field, and didn't go when the green flew. Great race, but a crap finish.
I hate watching a race for three hours just to see it come down to demolition derby at the end. How can @NASCAR allow their races to be decided like that? @austindillon3 does not deserve that win.
Austin Dillon's team radio had said "I don't care how you do it" before he hit Joey Logano and then "Wreck him! Wreck him!" before Denny Hamlin.
"Pop Pop is proud of you," Richard Childress then said on the radio.
Annual expression of gratitude heading into Toronto for the late volunteer track marshal Gary Avrin, and for one of my heroes, Jeff Krosnoff, both taken in a crash in 1996. #StayHungry
