My school is going back in person from being 100% virtual. I’ve created an #AmazonWishList for my classroom and second graders. Any help would be appreciated 😌 #clearthelist#supportteachers

@kateroe3 I get tired of hearing how kids aren't learning. MY KIDS ARE LEARNING! I have high expectations and my students meet and exceed them EVERY day. I work tirelessly to be sure lessons are meaningful. ALL my students are learning. I said that again for the people in the back.
I have gotten comments like this my entire career. TO BE CLEAR: I, a biracial woman, wear my hair the way it grows out of my head naturally. It has been intentional, to represent those who (like me) don’t see themselves often represented in media. Rude emails won’t change my mind
Something I tried today was fabulous! Instead of asking what questions do you have, I said,"Ask me 3 questions." It worked brilliantly and the questions were great!

@MartyHuitt@HMC1Proud@OurCornerstones I've been to many BIST trainings, but the ones I enjoy the most are led by Marty. There's just something about how she's able to get a difficult message across with simplicity. Thank you for supporting us
@ErvinHMC1 In our 4th grade classroom, we spent a significant amount of time talking about the freedoms protected by our military. My students had so much empathy and compassion for these brave soldiers. I'm beyond proud to be their teacher!
