WOW. In a shocking turn of events, the firebrand MAGA zealot who has recently become a prominent critic of her own party over their defense of the Epstein files, is now turning in the towel and resigning from Congress, according to a statement she put out on Twitter.

She roundly blasted her own party, writing:

“I’ve always represented the common American man and woman as a member of the House of Representatives which is why I’ve always been despised in Washington DC and never fit in. Americans are used by the Political Industrial Complex of both Political Parties, election cycle after election cycle, in order to elect whichever side can convince Americans to hate the other side more.

“And the results are always the same. No matter which way the political pendulum swings, Republican or Democrat, nothing ever gets better for the common American man or woman.”

“However with almost one year into our majority, the legislature has been mostly sidelined, we endured an 8 week shut down wrongly resulting in the House not working for the entire time, and we are entering campaign season which means all courage leaves and only safe campaign re-election mode is turned on.”

“During the longest shutdown in our nation’s history, I raged against my own Speaker and my own party for refusing to proactively work diligently to pass a plan to save American healthcare and protect Americans from outrageous overpriced and unaffordable health insurance policies. The House should have been in session working everyday to fix this disaster, but instead America was forced fed disgusting political drama once again from both sides of the aisle.”

“Many common Americans are no longer easily convinced by paid political propaganda spokespersons and consultants on TV and paid shills on social media obediently serving with cult-like conviction to force others to swallow the political party talking points.”

“My only goal and desire has ever been to hold the Republican Party accountable for the promises it makes to the American people and put America First…If I am cast aside by MAGA Inc and replaced by Neocons, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Military Industrial War Complex, foreign leaders, and the elite donor class that can’t even relate to real Americans, then many common Americans have been cast aside and replaced as well.”

BREAKING: The Washington Post drops bombshell on Donald Trump, reveals that a new analysis of Trump’s statements just found that Trump has become “more extreme” and less tethered to reality” since his deadly January 6 insurrection.

But it gets worse…

The report accuses Trump of “not only never acknowledging his defeat in the 2020 presidential election, but over time his false claims of rampant fraud have become more elaborate. In the past, he attacked the expansion of mail voting during the pandemic to suggest the Democrats could have inflated their tallies; now he claims (falsely) to have definitively found millions of fraudulent ballots stuffed into drop boxes."

The report ends with this chilling quote from New York University historian Ruth Ben-Ghiat, an expert on authoritarian movements:

“When authoritarian leaders lose office, they come back, like, 10 times worse — they never get less extreme, they always get more extreme. January 6 was a profoundly radicalizing event for the base, for the GOP and for Trump himself, because even assaulting the Capitol you could get away with. His campaign events have to be seen as that of an extremist radicalizing people and emotionally reeducating people to hate people.”
