The former Trump campaign field organizer was caught on video in a tense parking lot confrontation after allegedly trying to arrange a meet-up with a 14-year-old minor via a dating app. Visibly panicked, he begged the cameras to stop while falsely claiming he was a 17-year-old college student.

While Athens-Clarke County police confirmed that no formal criminal charges have been filed because the incident was handled entirely by an un-sanctioned amateur group, the political fallout was instant. The state GOP completely cut ties with their former rising star over that late-November weekend, leaving Stembridge to face the massive digital backlash entirely on his own.
