I’m too old school for whatever this All-Star race has turned into. Heat races, fan votes, cautions, stages, invert this, transfer that, average this 🤯feels like you need a damn calculator to follow along . Just put em on the damn track and let em race.
Dear @NASCAR, here is the cheat code to higher viewership and packed stands:
1. Gen-4 car with modern technology
2. 900+ HP, especially in qualifying
3. X-Pipe with boom tubes
4. Harder tire
5. Get rid of stage racing
6. no saving fuel
7. Make Super Speedway racing great again
If Steve O’Donnell wants to truly unite the NASCAR fanbase, he will concede that the future of NASCAR does not rely on the Gen 7 car.
It relies on the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series car. Please. Concede the obvious. Make the future racing product better.
Here is a wild, damn concept: get the cars to where they can race in a pack. You know, like what we see on Saturdays. What we used to see in this series.
GTFO of here with having to choose fuel saving, tandem, or wrecking.
The Gen 8 NASCAR needs to be based entirely on the Gen 4. A modernized version of it.
It is inarguable that the Gen 4 put on the best racing in NASCAR history. Just facts.
Add all modern safety enhancements & equipment to make them safe, then have the manufacturers build brand new 900 HP engines.
I just fixed the cup series in a single tweet.
It's really hard to sit and watch this race after the race we saw yesterday. No wonder John Probst wants to ruin the O'Reillys series. It continually makes Sunday races looks bad.
