Life pro tip: work with people who are kind to you. I went back to work on Wednesday and half a dozen other working parents have privately checked in on me. 10/10
my friend just described checking on my husband’s flight progress as “doing the Weasley clock thing” and I have never felt more called out in my entire life
Being a Mariners fan is fun because your team will literally have a 99% chance of making the playoffs for the first time in 21 years and the whole city will still be like “idk I’m not getting my hopes up yet”
I really have the audacity to call myself a “low key, level-headed person” while having a funeral for my college “going out” dress before taking it to Goodwill
I still don’t fully embrace the comparison for myself personally, but I WOULD like to see Captain America try to do a load of laundry while baby wearing 🤷🏼♀️
I used to kind of roll my eyes at the “Moms are superheroes” thing. Then my baby hit that phase where she cries if she is not being held by a person who is standing, and I stand (literally!!) corrected
✨Millennial things✨, grocery store edition:
1. Hitting the in-store Starbucks first
2. Panicking over which beer to buy
3. Using a parent’s phone number for store rewards because, despite approaching 30 and having a child of your own, you still don’t have your own account
We’re in the purple crying phase and the only consistent remedy is holding baby and having an ABBA dance party. I’m both proud of my child and terrified for what is to come.
altho I will say someone on the Tropicana team really dropped the ball here by putting almonds in this, because anyone who can eat almonds but not cow’s milk is gonna use almond milk in their cereal anyway. so congrats you have narrowed your tiny TAM even further
my husband does this because 1. he’s weird and 2. dairy allergies, and now he gets to brag about it being a marketing tactic that several people agreed was a good idea?! no thank you zero stars
