I love people who put crap like "Snowflake Destroyer", "Libtard Owner", or that sorta thing.
Not because they make any points. Just the opposite. If you try to engage them calmly and offer counterpoint, they can't process it and either call you a bot, "commie", or block you.
To the Destiny 2 community,
Thank you.
As artists, our goal has always been to create worlds filled with wonder, mystery, beauty, and adventure. But what brings those worlds to life is you. You take our designs, our napkin sketches, our "wouldn't it be cool if..." ideas and transform them into something real. Your creativity, your passion, and your love for the game give our work purpose.
We've always believed Destiny could be a place where expression is celebrated, where players can see themselves and each other in the worlds we build, where every Guardian can forge their own legend—and you proved it.
Watching your Guardians grow, embrace new allies, take down bigger and badder bosses, solve mind-bending puzzles, dodge death traps, avoid Taken boopers, and overcome every Raid challenge we throw at you—all while looking incredible—has been a constant reminder of why this universe matters.
You shaped it. You made it matter. You are the light of Destiny.
With Monument of Triumph, we set out to create a series of love letters to Guardians, new and old. We shared a preview last week of armor inspired by early designs from the original Destiny but have also sprinkled some winks and nods throughout the rewards releasing tomorrow. We hope they feel like a small thank you for everything you’ve given us.
From all of us on the Destiny 2 art team, thank you for supporting us, inspiring us, and continuing to bring this world to life in ways we could never have imagined. You give our art meaning.
With gratitude,
The Destiny 2 Art Team
It may not have been perfect, but Destiny was always great.
No matter where the story goes, even if only into the past, it will be a world I cherish for always.
I have loved&hated Destiny for 12 years.
Loved it for its imperfections and its potential. Its moments of greatness & the memories & friends forged in the Light. For giving my girlfriend & I a place to play & become friends at the start.
I hated it never lived to its potential.
@EverIntrigued@Breaking911@bjntweets As someone who lives in NYC:
It is down lower than it ever has been. That is not the same as "zero crime".
Don't be stupid.
@XBOX I would LOVE one as green is my thing... however I already have a Series X (since about a month after launch).
So if I can just get the controller, I would love it. (Would go nice with the 20th Anni one I got.)
So many moments come to memory. Speaker ripping Ghaul a new one, Cayde and Failsafe's banter, Ghaul "reminding us of the fear of death".
But I have to say my favorite Red War era quote?
"Operation Babydog."
https://t.co/NXaXEHCPW6
The Cabal's Dominus Ghaul launched a surprise attack on the Last City, and severed Guardians from the Light. The Vanguard and its allies rallied together to take back the city and free The Traveler.

@PyroPupCenter@ReignOfPride I mean... technically. While Hulk does share Banner's body, Hulk is another being entirely. (Hence why in 'The Infernal Hulk' Hulk's body is separated from Banner while being possessed by a demon.)
So while sharing Banner's body TECHNICALLY Jen is his cousin, but she's not.
To our Lighkeeper community,
Over the years, you've helped turn compassion into action and shown what's possible when our community comes together for those in need.
Today, we wanted to take a moment to assure you of the future of the Bungie Foundation and properly thank you for the incredible support Guardians have given the Foundation since Destiny’s launch.
To start, we want to reaffirm that the Bungie Foundation will continue its work.
Our team remains committed to our mission to providing joy and relief to kids + communities who need it most. From Bungie's very first fundraising campaign in response to Hurricane Katrina during the days of Halo, through all of the incredible years in Destiny and now what comes next, our success and ability to change the world has been because of the compassion and generosity of YOU, our community.
Since our very first activation in D1 with the Pride of Nepal emblem 11 years ago, you helped us raise over $32 million dollars to support our Little Lights program, ID&E initiatives, and humanitarian causes.
Every one of you has made an impact through your support of the Foundation and that will never change. Destiny may have been the primary game we fundraised through, but you are the heart and soul of the Bungie Foundation. Above all, it was your passion for doing good that made it possible, and we can’t wait to see how you show up for our future campaigns.
We are eternally grateful for your awe-inspiring generosity, kindness and willingness to join us in trying to make the world a better place. THANK YOU.
We will continue showing up for the causes that need us, and though the way we fundraise may look different, we are just as determined to make a dent in this universe as we ever have been. As always, this will be a community-led effort, and we will continue to collaborate with Lightkeepers across the world to help us shape what this next chapter looks like.
We’ll have more details to share soon on what’s ahead. Until then, we’ll see you starside.
Love,
The Bungie Foundation Team
Betrayed by the Fallen House of Wolves, Mara Sov opens The Reef to The Guardians to aid her in defeating their leader Skolas, the self-proclaimed Kell of Kells.

It's less of a quote, but more of a moment. After getting the exotic Khvostov, you have this amazing moment with Ghost just looking out on the Cosmodrome.
I plan to revisit that spot on Tuesday.
After being resurrected by a Ghost in the ruins of Old Russia, The Guardian journeys to Earth's Last City to help defend its citizens and push back against the forces of Darkness that lurk throughout the solar system.

@A_dmg04 Dylan, thank you again for everything you have done for the community.
I pray this isn't the end of our story here, that we are destined to meet again. Until then, I wish you the joys and success you so richly deserve.
