@Matt_Stepp817@mcu_resident Clulely (?) asks a legitimate football question of a media personality who covers high school football, but receives a snarky response (making a point to look down his nose at a classification of football that many of his employer’s followers LOVE). I hate this place sometimes.
@OnTheMicrophone@Tabchoops 1) Yes, BUT Plano is picking 5 out of ~4000. Gordon 5 out of ~70.
2) Yes, BUT they didn’t.
3) See 1) above.
4) Irrelevant.
Not sure why you’re hating on this feel good, underdog story.
Man Kicked Out of Golden Corral for “Eating Too Long” Is This Legal or Just Savage?
Buffet says “all you can eat” so what happens when you eat for hours? This guy got escorted out while still holding his plate.
No time limit posted. No signage saying you can’t stay.
But management said, “You’ve overstayed your welcome.”
Is that fair? Or is “all you can eat” just marketing, not a contract?
You decide. 👀

In Gordon, football is family—and that bond never breaks. 🐂
Full feature drops tomorrow during the @THSCAcoaches Game of the Week.

We had a good thing, you stupid son of a bitch. We had Circus Circus. We had the Tropicana and the Excalibur. We had cheap slots, 24-hour wedding chapels, all-you-can eat buffets, shrimp cocktails on the house. You could have shut your mouth, kept the city affordable for middle-class tourists, and printed more money than you ever needed. But no, you just had to blow it up. You and your resort fees and your Michelin stars. Your Fontainebleau Hotel, Jean Georges Steakhouse, poolside cabana rentals, and Formula 1 Grand Prix. If you’d done your job, known your place, and stopped private equity from pricing out regular visitors, we all be fine right now. But you didn’t.
@olcott4texas@wesvirdelltx Mike, similar to how YOU checked on Gordon FOUR weeks after the tornado hit the town, referred to Gordon as ‘Santo’ (nearby town) three times in the 5 minute conversation, said you didn’t really have experience handling situations like this, and havnt spoken to them again since?
@RepRWilliams And just a few weeks after their sports facilities (baseball, football, and track) were destroyed by a tornado! @reprwilliams, any assistance or introductions that you could make in helping our school rebuild these facilities would be greatly appreciated!
@austincloakroom @AndyHopperTX@olcott4texas For not doing ANYTHING, sir. Well I mean…except trying to demonize and privatize public schools. But, yes, like you, AnonymousStranger, I’m trying to make a point. But again, this conversation is not directed to you, but my representative.
