I am not an Inbox Zero person and I don’t feel bad about it. I heard something like “your inbox is not your to do list, it’s other people’s to do list for you.” And that resonated with me. I would be less efficient with my job if I clicked on every single pitch someone spammed me
@DannyGroner When I did internships (20 years ago, gulp), I got to be a fly on the wall at major meetings, calls, etc. The access was unparalleled! Glad to see this is happening more.
In 2005, I went to NY and emailed a few reporters to try to get some press for Reddit.
A few interviewed me, but none ended up writing a story.
One reporter, @rachelmetz, told me right off the bat she wasn't going to write anything, but we had a great conversation anyways.
