The club is saddened to learn of the tragic and sudden passing of local lad and ex Whitehaven player Cain Pears.

Cain trained and played in our Men’s First Team throughout a number of seasons. He was a kind and caring lad who always had a smile on his face.

CLUB STATEMENT

It is with great sadness Whitehaven AFC would like to sadly announce that Jon Karl Benson, First Team Manager has left his role.

Jon Karl joined the club in June 2021 and steadied the ship after a year of turmoil due to Covid.
