@jshirley Yeah, it can be kinda restorative if you have projects to keep you busy and distracted from the fact that the world is lava. Outside projects help. But definitely doesn’t compare to proper vacation.

Just realized a week after submitting quarterly expenses that I visited HQ in Feb (beginning of quarter). Having trouble squaring “a few months ago” with the covid-translated value of “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away”.
@Beryllium9 @ysaw We’ve accumulated a variety of fabric over the years, and my wife bought a bunch of quilters cotton from JoAnn fabrics last month specifically for masks.
@ysaw For sure. I’m going to make my own, trying a few patterns to see which style fits best and is easiest to put on and use and such. I’m agonizing over the amount of time the experiments and iterations will take.

If you're not having a food emergency, please don't go to the grocery store on April 1st and 2nd. Wait until the 3rd. People who are on food stamps get their accounts recharged on the first of the month, and have likely been running on fumes.
