@Solea84 @clhubes I told the office I didn't want to meet everyone b/c of this exact thing. No one took the time to get to know me. Might as well have someone with me along the way and delivery is what it is. The nurses matter the most in L&D anyway - doctor just comes in at the end.

@PRandallcares I've seen MANY threads in Loudoun parenting groups trying to find easily accessible under 3 vaccines. Disappointing our health dept. couldn't support families with littles like Fairfax. Let's make it easier for those who can't do extensive searches to find them.

@KaraKarlson @robsteinnews Yeah! Our health dept is leaving it to peds offices (who, SHOCKER, aren’t equipped to offer it - I’ve called a lot). Retail pharmacies won’t do under 3s or needlephobic kiddos (ie most children).

@maustermuhle I did the same thing as a kid and my mom just told me if I put as much effort into the rest of my life as I did my presentation, I’d be an A student (and not B). I think about this every day as an adult. Get that kid a guinea pig!!!

@PRandallcares Today feels scary and hopeless. Is now the time for Loudoun to look into (good) paid family leave for county staff, affordable full-day child care and pre-K, etc.? LC is only set up for families with a parent at home which is very difficult to achieve ($$$)

She’s never had a library class, never got to have play dates, never had a birthday party with family. I want this to be over too!! I’m just asking for a few more weeks of layered mitigation to help families with littles.

@stevemercieca @DrLeanaWen @wolfblitzer @CNNSitRoom We both wear N95s to work. We do everything right. If she gets sick we’ll be out of work for 2+ weeks caring for her and the classroom will not have a teacher. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe we could look out for BABIES?!
