The ER does not respond well to stress. When the ER stress response is activated by aging, environmental factors, or mutations, the ER can cause diabetes, bipolar disorder, Alzheimer's disease,etc. Being governor will be a stressful job. Is this who we want in charge of our cell?

@FiberLt It’s funny you say that! I seem to recall that the spindle fiber pulls apart the chromosomes during meiosis/mitosis. Soo, if genes are screwed up, it’s your fault! We control reproduction of the cell, and you are the worker bees. Y’all handle the logistics, we think big picture😝

@FiberLt Without us, the whole cell would be in chaos. (Remember this?) Anyways, you guys screw up all the time! You don’t form properly in anaphase and then don’t pull the chromosomes apart during anaphase! Sounds like a problem there.
