Elon—GA pilots adore Starlink. It’s our safety net for weather, comms, everything. Then bam—overnight 400% price hike, speed caps killing us. We scrape by on fuel and hangars already. This isn’t helping connect America’s skies… it’s pricing us out.

@Gwynne_Shotwell please reconsider the overnight, 500% price increase that light general aviation customers woke up to this morning. Starlink has been revolutionary for light GA, and is now out of reach for many. Most use very little data, a few days per month. Thank you.

Raising our cost from $60 to $250/mo with the new aviation plan really kneecaps us, and I will have to cancel, along with 100s of fellow pilots who are blowing up our message boards this morning. Not only that but you’re killing your brand and damaging your reputation with a favorable demographic.

@elonmusk @starlink The 500% overnight price increase was quite the shock and will price out most light General Aviation users. Please consider a light GA plan, even with low data limits, that is affordable to allow this amazing tech to be used by private pilots. Thanks.

I don't know who is being more honest in this discussion. But if is Dan, it would have made much more sense to say something like, "We signed every document that you sent us." Or at least addressed Shawn's points. Best case scenario, it is poor communication that deserves clarification; worst case, it is purposeful deception intending to imply that Shawn is being disingenuous. Someone here is obviously being disingenuous, and it deserves to be cleared up as to who it is. Your petulant responses tell me you haven't really given this much thought, or that you've just made up your mind based on information that you don't know.
