These gentle animals are not tourist attractions or machines. They feel exhaustion, pain, fear, and suffering just like we do.

No horse should have to work until their body gives out on a busy city street. As the debate around Ryder's Law continues, let this tragedy serve as a reminder that compassion must come before profit.

Deniz was 16. He was used to pull carriages around central park so his human could make money. All day, every day. Deniz collapsed and died on the pavement in the park yesterday.
