@TIME kratom does not kill people. period. in its natural form it forces vomiting with overdose. this is sloppy reporting. the DEA attempted to ban kratom in 2016, but there was no legal or medical justification for banning. tell the whole story behind these deaths, please.

mystified by 'injected' kratom. not water-soluble, not possible to inject at all. this is another product being called 'kratom', but it's not kratom.

@GoodLookingLosr kratom advocates need to straighten out opiate/opioid confusion to battle FDA properly. we do eat a lot of chocolate, but i wouldn't say we have an opioid "epidemic". we do have an opiate problem.

@DrTreyHanson @ErikaM1377 thank you for helping the kratom community battle misinformation campaign. unfortuntately, correction: FDA labeled kratom an opioid, not an opiate. true. so is breast milk. our problem is confusion, fear & ignorance; FDA will exploit these.
