@edwardlrowe I agree though and am just checking the absolutist language. The end result is the same; bad faith arguments. Very few of them have any intention of doing anything about it.
@edwardlrowe Totally agree on climate change. Gun violence I'm sure they think is a problem but just not one worth the fight with their base. It's disproportionately costly for them to embrace/acknowledge as an issue.
@OliviaSerio Thanks for those screenshots. Different errors than I'm seeing but probably related. Does it run for you or do those errors prevent the extension from working entirely?
@OliviaSerio Let me know if this doesn't work. It sounds like you might've tried this already.
I'll try to get an update for these issues out in a week or so. Have been wanting to change the style of the green redaction as well so this is a good excuse.
@OliviaSerio Looks like I need to update the plugin to request some permissions from the browser to get back on store. It does work for me in developer mode. Steps
1. Goto Extensions
2. Developer mode
3. Load unpacked
4. Select spoiled-chrome-extension
5. Ignore manifest version error
@jpheffne Very cool talk. I'm curious if you looked at raw dollars versus percentage. Do you think when people commit to 10% they have a number in their head that anchors them to a relatively low donation once they are "rich"? Do the charts show same trends in dollar value rather then %?
I know this isn't news to anyone that Terms & Conditions are long but @fepblue's blew me away. Their terms are 28,497 words long! That's almost as many words as Animal Farm (32k)! And of course you have to scroll through it. How is this real?
