@AJA_Cortes The incentives create the outcomes. The biggest challenge with BJJ is that every promotion has their own rule set. Submission only rules make it pointless to wrestle, yet UFC BJJ doesn’t allow guard pulling. The rules created the awkward scenario seen in the video.

@frontrowbrian This was the right move but the UFC jumped on the wrong horse. Plenty of marketable stars in the sport that don’t spend their days snorting Tylenol and glazing over fake Italian dishes. Everyone IN the sport knows this, maybe that’s the real problem.
