The Round Garden is such a pleasure to see every day at work 🤗 Designed by Christina & Laura in my team, this little slice of new perennial style planting is an ever changing burst of colour.

Summer in one photo! 🌦️
This year, summer has been a real mixed bag of weather... & in North Wales it's always raining a little bit anyway!
Coreopsis 'Schnittgold' on the Range Borders @BodnantGardenNT. The cultivar name translates to cut gold, as it was developed as a cut flower

It was a magical week staying in the manor house, with pretty amazing bedroom views, and having the garden to ourselves in the evenings 😍

This time last year, I was lucky enough to spend a week working @HidcoteNT, the beautiful 20th century garden created by Major Lawrence Johnston, and the first garden to be donated to @nationaltrust as a stand-alone garden of significance, 75 years ago this year.

Loving Rosa 'Phyllis Bide', spilling over pergolas and walls alike on the terraces @BodnantGardenNT ☀️

This beautiful rose was bred by S. Bide & sons in 1923, and is a classic rambler with few thorns and a long, glorious flowering season.

Did you enjoy the yaks this year? Rhododendron yakushimanum put on a beautiful show around the garden last month 😍

Rhododendron falconeri ssp. eximium, picked @BodnantGardenNT, won best in show @RCM_Group Centenary Show @Ness_Gardens a few weekends ago! 🏆

I had so much fun helping at my first competition! All the entries were stunning, it sure is an art form exhibiting plants.

[Luce @luceinthegarden]

@PaulTwyman2 Fantastic, that sounds like such a brilliant experience! Loving life at Bodnant now, hope all is well with you at Yoakley House.
