@neondatabase I was following the Sentry build academy instructions and got Avast complaining about the `pnpx neondb` command, it seems to think it's a virus of the kind IDP.HELU.PSE46?

@Wziafz@Get_PoneD@GFL2EXILIUM_EN Except you can't depending on your region, I can't download anywhere, probably need to wait until 5th regardless (maybe)?
My friend told me he and his wife live paycheck to paycheck.
I don't believe it because they both are high earners in tech, and he even works for Google. But after doing a little bit of math, I found out he didn't lie.
• Mortgage: $17,000/month for a $3M home
• Property Tax: $3,000/month
• Private School: $3,000/month for 1 kid
• Travel: $2,000/month (assuming $20k/year)
• Utilities: $1,000/month
• Groceries: $2,000/month
• Eating Out: $1,000/month
• 2 cars: $1,000/month
So in total $30k per month, not including other misc costs like house maintenance, paying for Netflix, etc.
W-2 employees usually take home only 50% of their salary, so they have to make $60k per month pretax, which is $720k in annual TC.
What's the point of living a life like this?
Also Fleet profiles/builds, like a way to swap between specialized fleets, I would like to swap between anti-low tech, anti-high tech, carrier spam, and anti [Redacted].
@amosolov Man, there are 2 things I keep wishing for since years back:
- A better refit Simulation, which doesn't list all ships (cough... remnants or doritoes), or refit opponents.
- Better UI for storage, it is a pain to find stuff right now, would love filters by mod/faction.
@Pirat_Nation We're reaching the diminishing returns issues, the difference between very well optimized old games and new ray tracing ones is barely noticeable, most people will not notice not care for hyper realistic graphics, we just want fun games.
@liltechnomancer@tannerlinsley@Console_buche@LLCoolChris_ TypeSafe without the code gen involves having a route constants file that everyone has to import from, your router, your links, your button functions, and your forms, it's more involved and less standard (at least that's how I go about it for TypeSafety if no code gen).
@xyz3va You may not be the hero we wanted, but you're definitely the one we need, keep up the good work making the wold (or at leas the internet) a safer place. :)
@tannerlinsley@tan_stack Jajaja, I don't know what it is, but opening it from the WSL 2 browser actually works, hope I can fix it outside of WSL as well...
@_munter_@tannerlinsley I'm using a bit of an extreme solution, disabled JS, and am using the SSR side for now...
And I have no extensions on my side (tried Chrome, Edge & Firefox).
@tannerlinsley@tan_stack Sorry I don't know what is it, it renders ok on my phone, I have disabled all extensions and tried other browsers to no avail.
The error link shows a Hydration error, it must be something in my PC since it works on the phone ok.
I thought maybe Avast was messing with me...
