@KubatovaHana Mňa našťastie egá kvôli titulom úplne obchádzajú (možno preto, že nemám žiadnu pracovnú skúsenosť zo Slovenska/Česka? 🤔). Mne v tejto fáze kariéry najviac vadí neistota (finančná, krátkodobé pracovné zmluvy, tlak na granty, atď).

@trif Som prekvapená, koľko ľudí odporúča Haus des Meeres. Nám sa tam vôbec nepáčilo. Za nás ZOO, v Schönbrunn majú aj skvelé bábkové divadlo. Neďaleko je Technické múzeum. Potom Haus der Musik, Zoom a tuším som tu nevidela Naturhistorisches museum. A určite korčuľovanie pri radnici!

Very happy to see our last paper of 2023 is out:
The loci of many genes with redundant function (including paralogs) are in close proximity in 3D #Chromatin_loops. We show that such gene-gene loops often involve genes that cross-regulate each other’s expression.

@JosefPatocka Áno, je to chyba - aby takéto diskusie boli v súlade s konsenzom, ten pán mal dostať 3% mediálneho priestoru. Nemôžeme sa potom čudovať, že niektorí ľudia si potom myslia, že vedecký konsenzus vlastne neexistuje 🤷‍♀️

@petr_zabza @BarekSvata @CRozhlas Otázka je, ako by mali médiá túto “názorovú pluralitu” (=nezmysly) prezentovať. V tomto prípade je vedecký konsenzus cca. 97%, takže tento pán prezentuje názory zvyšných 3%. Dostáva ale polovicu mediálneho priestoru. Presne takéto diskusie vedú ku consensus gap, sú na to štúdie.
