Honestly, it's pretty simple: the story of planacardia is just kind of weak overall and doesn't draw you in the way Amphoreus does, so the characters aren't as popular.

What went wrong?

I wonder what happened or what went wrong with Himeko Nova's sale, everywhere I see it just looks like she isn't performing as good as the other recent mainpush characters.

My speculation is that people are already having enough team to prioritize and doesn't necessarily need a new team, but I don't think this is the main reason because it's a biased opinion of mine.

What do you think is the reason behind Himeko Nova's low sales?

So glad Aven's Elation skill finally counts as an FUA, but his buffs still aren't quite cutting it.

They either need to give AshBlade some buffs or buff Aven even more.
