@Moyboy16@VinnysCorner1 Hasek had more shutouts in the 90’s than Brodeur 42 to 38 and a better save percentage.926 to .913 and no hall of famers on defence compared to Brodeur having 2 of them
@Blutman27 WJC isn’t best on best. Too many top young players in the NHL not playing in the tournament. If the US had won yesterday they’d talking shit about how they are better than Canada, but nope you’re still little brother to the big boys when it counts
@TDC_Hockey If you watch in an average town the 1-2 stronger players absolutely dominate smaller ice hockey. The goalies get frustrated because 15+ goals are being scored every game. Players in this system have not “developed “ any more than those who played full ice.
@Frainer99@thegoldenmuzzy Only because Stamkos made him fight. I’m not saying Matthews should fight but I think if he had a mean streak it would help himself and the team.
In the early 90’s this was a regular piece in my hockey bag. Now imagine 3-4 of these going off prior to a game with the smell of burnt aluminum & glue in the dressing room air with Metallica blaring & 500 screaming fans waiting for us to step out on the ice. Haha! Picture it.
