Strength Switch PSP

This setup is designed to identify reversal opportunities away from failure swings.

The model begins when the leading asset trades into a high and prints a bearish close. However, that bearish close only qualifies as a valid Strength Switch PSP if the correlated asset closes in the opposite direction on the exact same candle. This divergence signals a transfer of relative strength between the two correlated markets.

When a Strength Switch PSP forms at a high, it suggests the failure swing is likely to hold, providing confirmation for a potential bearish reversal. Rather than entering on the initial rejection, the focus is on the shift in strength between correlated assets, which offers higher-quality confirmation before execution.

This concept works best when combined with SMT, liquidity, PD Arrays, and higher-timeframe narrative to build a complete institutional framework.
