Personally, I’m VERY disappointed in the Clarity Act. I think it’s outrageous and un-American that customers can’t receive interest related to their holdings of Crypto tokens or stable-coins.

I call it un-American because it protects Banks. When there’s disruption of an industry, that industry has the opportunity to adapt and integrate with the new technology or become irrelevant and DIE. That’s the whole idea of American capitalism. Our government shouldn’t pick the winners from the losers. Period.

If I was in the Senate I would have fought like hell agaisnt banks. But if they have enough Senators in their pockets (as they currently do) it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t vote for Clarity because I didn’t get EVERYTHING I wanted.

TO THE DEMOCRATS:

Trump has already made $1.4 billion dollars in Crypto. I hate it. Hell, when Dick Cheney awarded Halliburton a multibillion dollar contract for the Iraq War - while still on Halliburton’s payroll - I thought that violated ethics. So I don’t like it either.

But with or without Clarity, Trump will likely make another billion or more. Trump and his family are heavily invested in defense companies. Are we going to suspend all funding with defense contractors because Trump or his family may benefit from it?

Of course not!

Why would we treat Crypto any different? Why punish tens of millions of Americans because of one man?

I only ask that you love America more than you hate Donald Trump.

in 2024, when I said Elizabeth Warren was the #1 lobbyist for Banks, local reporters or commentators looked at me like I was crazy. I said you have to ignore the rhetoric and the things that she says and look at what she does.

She wants there to be 5-6 major banks that she gets to have control over. She told @chucktodd that America was ready for a consumer-based CBDC - which would be the greatest act of government control over its citizens in American history.

Specifically the Clarity Act. For once I would love the political system to stop thinking of enriching themselves and let the American taxpayers to earn investment wealth. Yes all investments are risks. However, we watch you all arrive broke and 3 years later leave millionaires. Some of us have been in digital investing since the beginning and have seen everything from a corrupt SEC to politicians spiting an entire market because of hatred towards @realDonaldTrump. What you don’t realize is you’re not hurting Trump, you’re crippling the very people that put you where you are. So for the love of all things, please. Please allow the tax payers to start earning from our investments, it will boost the economy, increase investment, allow additional tax revenue, create more jobs, etc.
