Only in America can a Canadian billionaire waltz into a drought-ridden state on the verge of ecological collapse and get a massive data center campus rubber-stamped with huge tax breaks. Zero local input. But made possible by the bought and paid for government!
The Flex Loan, a new type of payday loan pioneered by Advance Financial in Tennessee, allows residents to borrow up to $4,000 at a 279.5% interest rate.
It has burdened low-income borrowers while generating huge profits for lenders.

Update—video clearly shows ICE lied about man "weaponizing" vehicle to resist arrest.
"You are killing me!" he screams.
"I need to talk to my lawyer!"
Agent shoots him 3 times with taser—while sitting in drivers seat.
This is same man ICE dragged out of hospital 5 hours later.
This house, directly bombed by the US and Israel, belonged to Mohammad Ali Kiyalha. A 22-day-old baby and seven family members were killed in Tehran. The blast was so severe it threw the infant onto a tree.
Huda is 5 months pregnant and just discovered her baby has a 5 cm cyst in his stomach.
This means she now needs much more frequent doctor visits and close monitoring for the rest of her pregnancy.
As of now, she is already struggling to afford medical bills and food for her family.

“I was beaten by four people, repeatedly punched, kicked, spat on and accused of being a terrorist.”
British Gaza flotilla activists Alice Chapman and Zak Khan said they required hospital care after being abducted and abused by Israeli occupation forces who attacked and intercepted their aid ships in international waters near Crete.
Khan testified that he was shot in the leg with a rubber bullet, violently assaulted, and told by doctors he came close to a broken jaw. He also said he developed a chest infection due to the conditions aboard the detention vessel.
Chapman said she was punched by an Israeli soldier, while both described detainees being forced to sleep either inside shipping containers or outdoors, exposed to extreme cold at night and intense heat during the day, while being denied water and having stun grenades used to disrupt their sleep.
Khan further reported that some detainees were placed in solitary confinement, while others were taken away and beaten. He described one activist being “beaten very badly” inside a container after shouting “free Palestine,” with others only able to hear the assault.
They said dozens of detainees required medical treatment upon release, as Israeli occupation forces seized multiple vessels from the flotilla attempting to break the blockade on Gaza, with organizers condemning the attack as unlawful and an act of piracy.

This is insane. A video of Cornell University President Michael Kotlikoff trying to run over a student confronting him after a campus talk last week on Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
NYPD Captain Wilson making political statements in uniform to members of the public, knowingly on camera, denigrating @NYCMayor, saying he’s “nonsense” and “expendable” and “not my mayor.”
Is this @NYPDPC’s influence?
