backpack tge was a total fiasco and fell way below expectations

but the real fiasco isnt that, it’s the @Backpack team and how they behaved

first off with sybil unfairly booted a bunch of people, then apologized and opened a form, but for those people to sell at the same price as everyone else the token would need to 2x (opening price), which is already a huge mess

what i really want to point out though is the @MadLads holders getting treated like trash

last year i bought madlads and staked them (also linked to the exchange) and was in the snapshot. anyway, a few days before tge i sold because i was thinking there’d be heavy listing

on TGE day i realized i didnt get the lads airdrop ($200). figured something was off, hit up @Luc100k from growth on telegram and explained. he said he’d check, 2-3 days later messaged me saying i wasn’t in the snapshot because i bought lads 1 month after it (which is wrong, bought 9 months before snapshot, staked, linked to exchange, didnt move). i sent proof and he said he’d check again. then he came back saying i missed the airdrop because i didnt hold on tge

so basically they’re a team that will make you hold through all the dump and be in snapshot but if you sold last minute, your $200 airdrop is gone, and they try to gaslight you with wrong info

putting price aside, backpack team is way behind rivals, armani publicly calling people dumb, sybil taking rights from communities, madlads made all holders regret it

betting on a team and product like this doesnt make much sense to me, hope they manage to get some supporters tho
