Female abduction / murder is extremely rare. Yes we should all be vigilant when out alone. But this level of fear-mongering isn’t healthy. And men’s mental health is an issue as well. Calling all men out as dangerous is bad for our sons, brothers, partners.

I had to drive off with only half of my windscreen visible because I was so scared to stay parked there for any longer. This is not ok.

Leaving an on-call night shift at 2am walking to my car being watched by men standing outside their car and then one walked over to me whilst I was waiting for my car to heat up and tapped on my window to tell me to turn my lights off because it was annoying them

I was by no means harassed in any way, but already being aware of the shocking statistics..I was absolutely terrified. I saw him walking over and made sure I had a phone number dialled ready to call.
