I used to print maps to teach the distribution of earthquakes and volcanoes. Not only did this cost money (colour printing😆) but I never really felt that students grasped what I wanted them to. So after watching videos mainly @lcgeography (thank you!) I now use GIS! 🧵

Prisoners of Geography - Conflict in the Arctic 🐻‍❄❄️📚 The students loved the game - using straws they gathered resources with sea ice melting after each round. Details in slide notes. Outcome = Etch a sketch!

I have created a SOW on the UN's happiness report 🥳🌞🙌This lesson involved a game where gummy bears represented their population. Chance cards discussed how health affected overall happiness, leading to independent research. Lesson folder:
