@Uniquekatie02 I’m a history teacher and this absolutely delights me.
I’m also very sentimental so I suggest you record some of these - complete with his cute little voice asking questions if he does - and present him with a very sweet memento when he’s older, say, as a graduation gift.
@the_tweedy I have a lot of thoughts about what my attitude is perceived to be and even though I’m in pain all day, every day, it’s still my responsibility to make people like me so I’m not seen as bitter or unemployable or “giving up” but you thought those thoughts better.
when guys say they'd like to have a beer with a candidate everyone claps respectfully but when a woman says she'd like a margarita twenty thousand chuds come out to say women shouldn't vote

@RowanJetteKnox Rowan, I will miss you greatly. You bring a lot of joy and visibility to this platform. I 100% support your decision to go, and I will try to figure out a new platform on which I can appreciate your content. Be well ❤️
It’s obviously not a surprise that “exposure to trans people through friends or social media” does not make you trans, but despite this article’s affirming message, reading it made me sad. I wish I were confident that responsible research would travel as fast as the bogus kind.
A steadily growing body of scientific evidence demonstrates that "rapid-onset gender dysphoria" claims do not reflect transgender adolescents’ experiences and that “social contagion” is not causing more young people to seek gender-affirming care. https://t.co/FCuHsdxpi1
@daniwithanelle You look great! I know you did not solicit my opinion, but I feel like this floral top is so beautiful on you with your coloring and I am on team no product! Your hair has so much sheen and volume on its own. (Also, love the serotonin necklace💜)
@RowanJetteKnox Rowan, I love that you use your platform to show that you have to feel and accommodate your feelings to be happy and healthy/healing. Ignoring or repressing our feelings harms us; I really appreciate how you are so willing to be vulnerable to show us the importance of emoting.
@DeathlyDuck@Imani_Barbarin My understanding is that “doing the work” just gives white racists the tools to continue causing harm with more sophisticated tools like using the “right” language or inflated sense of self-righteousness or even a better understanding of an issue allowing them to cause more harm
@ItsChloeNow My heart breaks for you, Chloe. I’m so sorry you won’t be able to go back to your former home; I hope your family finds a way to come to you while you can’t go to them.
Going to get a little controversial here, but if your child comes out at school and not to you, your questions shouldn’t be with your child, or with their teacher. You should really be questioning yourself.
@MavenOfMayhem “The part of you that matters most is your bones” is a weird take, especially from people who usually say “the part of you that matters most is how a doctor identified your genitalia at birth.”
@TakeTimeToAsk@MavenOfMayhem@chrystyna66 I’ve never seen that happen. Trans women belong in women’s spaces because they’re women. Biological essentialism would keep trans men in women’s spaces, which is the opposite of what you claim to champion.
