Very sad news… Joan was director when I joined @IRBBarcelona and I owe him this great opportunity. He has led us to become not only a place for excellent science, but also a warm and welcoming environment, a rare combination. Joan will be missed, but we continue in his spirit!

El Dr. Guinovart ha estat una figura clau en l’àmbit de la bioquímica, deixant una empremta inesborrable tant a nivell científic com de gestió. La seva intel.ligència, lideratge i el seu profund humanisme han estat fonamentals per a les persones que hem tingut la sort de compartir camí amb aquest home irrepetible i per al món de la recerca.
